In my morning Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel:
"Don Felder, a founding member of the Eagles, will share bill with Grand Funk Railroad on July 23rd at the Waukesha County Fair in Waukesha, Wisconsin."

Yeah. I love that. 'Founding member'.
And what does 'will share bill' mean? Opening or headlining?
Hmmm Molly - you should check it out. Heck, seeing GFR is worth $15 by themselves. It would seem like they would be a bigger draw than Felder. However, "sharing the bill" implies to me that they would get equal time - at least that's how it works around my neck of the woods.

Well, Waukesha is only a 30 minute drive from me-and Grand Funk is a favorite in this household, so that alone would make it worthwhile.
GFR was initially promoted as the opening act for Joe at the IL State Fair a couple of years ago. After we got our tickets it was changed to JD and the Straight Shots.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Felder usually signs autographs after concerts. I nabbed one from him after seeing him at a casino in Canada. If you're planning on going and want to be sure he's doing it after the show, just send him a message via his MySpace and inquire. That's what I did.
