Hootie is in the house! I just got to deal to Darius Rucker! He's doing a concert here at the casino tonight and he was playing blackjack before getting ready for the show. I kinda feel like fool because I didn't realize it was him at first and then when I did i completely forgot that he was playing here tonight. But he was cool about it and we had a good laugh about it. He was a really nice guy. And I also paid him A LOT of money.

And last monday I got to deal to Jason Aldean. He was just passing through. He was nice too.

So I can finally say that i've dealt to someone famous. Two celebrities in one week. Pretty cool.

Very cool Jess! Although I hear Rucker hates being called "Hootie" lol. I really like "Let Her Cry" and "Only Wanna Be with You" and even bought Cracked Rear View back in 1994. I wonder if they've put out anything recently or are just touring? Hard to believe those hits are over fifteen years old now.

Well, looks like I may have scratched my cornea by wearing my contact lenses too much. This morning I couldn't even bear to look at the computer screen for more than a few seconds at a time because my left eye was so light-sensitive! I can do so now (obviously), but I can't go outside into the sunlight. It hurts too bad. I may wind up having to go to a doctor, and I am really loath to do that!!!! Since it's already gotten a little better, I'm waiting to see if it'll get all the way better without me having to do that.

I had plans to see a movie with a couple friends today. I figure since the theater is dark, maybe it'll be OK, so one of my friends is picking me up and I'm going to give watching the movie a shot. I'm bringing a book in case it turns out I can't tolerate it.

Can I say that THIS SUCKS!!!!!!

Oh no Nancy! I've scratched my cornea before and it hurts like heck. You sound like me with the doctor thing. It's easy for me to tell someone they should go, but not so easy to go myself. Hope it heals quickly.

Ouch Nancy. I hope your eye is better very soon. I accidentally burnt my eyeball with the curling iron several years ago (very stupid move!). I did have to go to the emergency room, wore a patch over it for a couple days but it healed very quickly. That hurt awful.

AZ, 48 years! Congrats and well done!
