Thanks for those extra details scottside. To hear unreleased songs and covers... how thrilling! That's the kind of thing that makes my mouth water. I wish the Eagles would throw in a song like that nowadays, but I guess realistically it's all they can do to fit in new music with the hits and solo songs. At least in the solo setlists, the guys throw in some "bonuses."

SS, those early concerts you saw are really cool. Especially that you can remember anything about them! I only saw one in the mid '70's and can't remember anything about it other than that they did do Hotel Ca!

And no, the memory loss is not from the heavy smoke drifting to the rafters! I think it was that I was completely in awe of even being in the same building as The Eagles!

I am particularly bummed that I don't have any souvenirs from it! (Oops, forgot about my 3E pin! :P )

Well, I have been a fan as long as I can remember and knew the words to Hotel California when I was 8ish, but as I'm only 24 I've not seen them that many times.

    Eagles
Twice in 2006 at Twickenham and Wembley, which was absolutely fantastic.

One this year at the 02 Arena. Certainly preferred the Wembley show, although Twickenham holds fond memories for being my first Eagles show.

    Joe
I saw Joe at the Strat Pack in 2004, which was fantastic and my first live Eagle experience.

    Glenn, Don and Tim
Alas, I have yet to see these guys individually, however the day after the Wembley show in 2006 I spent the day with Junie, and she and I were eating dinner in a steakhouse and Tim looked in our window and pointed and me and smiled. I must have been glued to my seat as I just smiled and waved.

That's wonderful Toonie! How lovely of Tim to pay attention to you at the steakhouse - did he see you at the concert the previous evening?

I don't think too many have ever seen vegetarian Tim looking at them through a steakhouse window, Toon. Pretty unique experience! But then you are a memorable girl!

That's such a great story about Timothy, Toon! I know you had a bit of interaction with him at Wembley - how awesome that he recognised you!

Well, I must admit (and Kathryn will back me up) we were all pretty shameless that night in getting attention! lol. I couldn't believe he recognised me, but it was lots of fun having Timmy wave at us.

Junie and I said at the time maybe he was planning to eat a secret steak, but then recognised me and thought better of it
