Here's an interesting Q&A article with JD.He talks mainly about "Nashville", but he does say a bit about the 70's & his association with Don, Glenn & Linda Rondstat, among others.

Aw man! I pulled up second row to his Nashville show tomorrow, but instead of snapping it up, I paused to contact a friend and ask if she'd like to go with me. While I waited for her to decide, the ticket timed out and now it's gone. Now the best I can do is Row M which is not worth the four hour drive to get there. Guess I wasn't meant to go. Ah well, it would have been a short set anyway. The man lives in Nashville - surely I'll get another chance and I won't pause next time.
PS The friend said she wasn't interested in going so I lost the ticket for nothing!
sorry to hear that nancy...it would have been a good show i am sure
At least we can stream it: http://www.opry.com/wsm/ - tonight at 7:00 pm Central. Oh well, at least it saves me about $110 ($60 for the ticket and $50 for gas.)
It's also on SiriusXM...I forget what channel.
