    Default New Henry Diltz book

I saw this advertised in Record Collector magazine. Does anyone know more about it?

No - I don't GEF, but thanks for the heads up. I have to see what I can find out about this little treasure. I also love how they put Glenn "evidence" quote in the ad!

Edited to add: Okay, I did a search and found this link where you can order the book.

Am I reading the price correctly? £225 PLUS P&P for the limited addition. Geez, that is amazing - that would be over $475 U.S. dollars with P&P charges. Then, of course, if you are really busy being fabulous, you can get the deluxe edition for £595 PLUS P&P. Hmmm - guess I'll be waiting for the paperback edition.

Surely there is some mistake! Whoever heard of paying so much for a book of photos? Look at how much the deluxe edition costs! Perhaps they come with a 5-star ILAA ticket.

They'd want to at that price!! I'm sure it would be a great read and an even better collectors item but I don't think I can justify it at the moment. I too was struck by the Glenn comment at the front.
In € it would be about €300.00. plus p&p, and possibly duty. No can do for the moment I guess

Ouch! £225 for a book? Thanks for the link, dreamer. I guess the only people who can afford it are the stars themselves! Still, it would be nice to read some of the contributions, and it's cool that Glenn's quote was used.

Yikes! I'd love to have it, but Eagles tickets will have to come first!

They cannot seriously think the teaming masses are going to shell out that amount of money for a book of pictures Surely that must be wrong???

Here is a picture from the party launching the book

It is a limited edition. By definition it is not aimed at the 'teeming masses'.

Well, some "limited editions" are in name only, so we can't go by that alone! However, in this case, we've all been priced out. I too wondered if it was a mistake, but I guess with Diltz's autograph and a fancy cover, they felt they could charge more!

    Nice picture, tbsf!

Most of the pictures are probably available on corbis, but it would be nice to read the contributions from the musicians.
