Because I've loved SBR since the first time I heard it. It never fails to give me goosebumps. NKIT and HT are tied. I love Sugar's voice on NKIT and HT is such a good rocker -- especially live. ICTYW is a wonderful song. I love Tim's voice and he is note-perfect here. Just a great song. ATTIG gets a higher bump because of the lyrics and Glenn's vocals. If you've ever been in a situation where "Half the distance takes you twice as long. So you keep on dancing for the sake of the song..." this will resonate. I like "Fast Lane," especially since I know how it got its name. TLR is a solid, jazzy tune with good vocals from DH.
HC: yeah, the "great one" and so, so overplayed. It's a complete experience, and I'll always like it, but there are so many that are better -- to me.
Sad Cafe is good, but it takes a while to get where it's going.
VOL has such an ugly history that it kind of taints the whole song for me, but I also think "Those Shoes" covers the same essential territory, and in a much more interesting way.
So that's my take.
