George Romero passed away yesterday at the age of 77. He's the co-writer and director of the cult classic "Night of the Living Dead" which jumpstarted a whole new sub genre of horror film. This is one of my favorite movies.
May he truly RIP.

No! I hadn't heard that. R.I.P.
His films scared the daylights outta me as a youngster, especially "Dawn of the Dead."
I did see on the news this morning that the fine actor Martin Landau passed away.
I saw that about Martin Landau as well. His role in Crimes and Misdeameanors stands out for me. But I'll always remember how he got after that Kennedy gal from MTV when she interviewed him on the red carpet. She apparently didn't know Mission Impossible was based on a tv show and thought it was an original movie.
RIP Mr. Landau

I thought of Mr. Landau from several James Dean documentaries I've seen. They were friends.
Oh, that's cool, I didn't know they were friends.
