Very sad to hear, may he rest in peace. I know he was associated with the band and individuals from it for many years so it must be sad for them all. Out of interest, does anyone know what he did to get a credit for OOC?
I don't know what he did to earn the credit, but he would have certainly been hanging out and partying with Glenn.
I can't remember where I saw it, but I think Tom Nixon had a few other writing credits with one of his early bands.
I think that's the first time I ever seen a picture of Tommy. I heard so much about him and his friendship with Tommy. Was he still with Glenn when the guys got back together in 1994. I can't remembered.
Do anybody know who's the guy on the far left?
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
RIP, Tommy. Another sad day for the family.
Does anyone know what happened?

Shun - From what I have read, Tommy was Glenn's road manager during the 14 year vacation. He was also a road manager from HFO onward. I do not know who the guy on the far left is.
Thank you for that video, Soda, I love it; it's a great song. How cool that you got to meet him. I bet he had enough interesting stories to fill a book.
I had not seen a recent photo of Tom Nixon so I appreciate the upload (although I have seen him on the back cover of the Desperado album).
It must be a sad time for Don Henley, who went way back with Tommy to the very early touring days in Texas. I don't know how close they were in recent times.
RIP
