That's the second one from that group that died this year.
I don't know much about Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
No!! Horrible. Such a talented man. How awful.
How sad. First Keith, now Greg.
I admit I had forgotten about ELP until I watched those video clips from the '74 California Jam (thanks to the Eagles!). I learned a while back that "Lucky Man" started off as a filler track, and no one thought much of it at first.
RIP.

Very sorry to hear about Greg's passing. Stewart Young has posted a heartfelt message on Greg's official website saying he died after a long battle with cancer.

Although I don't own any ELP albums, I Believe In Father Christmas is one of my favourite Christmas tunes. I've played it a couple of times already this year.
RIP Greg.
"From the Beginning" is a beautiful song. I never got into ELP all that much, but became interested after seeing Carl Palmer and his young band in concert three years ago. Was amazed to learn that Greg played guitar and bass on the albums, as well as being the chief songwriter, singer *and* producer. Geez.
This one's a gut punch. I was listening to him only yesterday.
So sad to hear this.
It's all in your smile that brings
All of the special things about you
Very sad.
ELP were my husband's second favourite band after Rush. Two of the three of them have now died this year. RIP... what a lucky man he was.
RIP Greg Lake. That is so sad. I always liked "Lucky Man" too.
