I'm starting to feel as though I'd have been more victorious if I had selected "In the City" as the song to take out in the hope of preserving "King of Hollywood." A miscalculation on my part.

Oh, well. Life goes on. I mean, it wasn't as though KoH was ever going to actually win this thing. A fan though I am, I wouldn't be so delusional in my thinking.

In a very close round, the next song to be eliminated in The Long Run Survivor is King of Hollywood. “King of Hollywood”, the tribe has spoken and let’s have a little heart-to-heart. Now look at me and tell me, darlin', what were you willing to sacrifice? And why weren’t you willing to be real nice? For years, we’ve seen ‘em come and go and now it’s your time. I'll now predict that the final round will be a fight between "Heartache Tonight" and "I Can't Tell You Why." Not disclosing which is my ultimate choice.

Strategising didn't work last round, so this round I'll go with my own preference. I vote for In the City. I hope The Sad Cafe makes it through but I feel less strongly about it that KoH.

I will vote for: In the City.

I like it, but it's far from Joe's best. I'd rank it third behind Pretty Maids All In A Row and The Last Good Time In Town among Joe's Eagles songs. And there are many of his solo songs that I prefer to all three JW Eagles songs.

It's a very good song, but the others still in the competition are better.
