I feel that Take It Easy is the best choice for winner. It is the early era equivalent of Hotel California. Those two songs should win any day of the week. I never tire of either, you could play it 24/7 and I'll still eagerly anticipate them.

We have two great songs in this final round, but ultimately for me there's only one winner here...

TAKE IT EASY for the win!

It is not just my favourite song from the album, but also one of my all-time favourites. I love the original studio versions and I've loved all the various live versions too, and it is also remarkable that the opening track on their first album was such a classic. I think pretty much everything about it is great from those rousing open chords to the terrific harmonies at the end and it hits the spot for me every single time. Peaceful Easy Feeling is a worthy runner up (and IMO Witchy Woman would have been too).

I have to say I love all the comments about why Take It Easy should win this game. I feel exactly the same way. As we've said repeatedly, Take It Easy and Hotel California are the definitive Eagles songs for a reason - they earned it!

Well, even though it may have been predictable, I would like to congratulate Take It Easy on a well deserved win.

I have said before, while the songs that finish in the top 2 or 3 in these Survivor Games are often predictable, we can be all over the place when it comes to the middle rounds and early rounds. I was surprised to see how different the results were in those rounds this time as compared to previous games. At the end of some games, we sometimes post our preferences from favorite to least favorite, so I thought I'd share mine. It remains unchanged over many years. I'd love to see other lists for those who would like to share. Anyway, here's mine ...

    1. Take It Easy
    2. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    3. Witchy Woman
    4. Chug All Night
    5. Train Leaves Here This Morning
    6. Nightingale
    7. Most of Us Are Sad
    8. Tryin’
    9. Take the Devil
    10. Earlybird

I've 'slagged' "Take it Easy" for its being over-played, but it is still one of the better tracks on that album. It is very easy to see why it was able to prevail over all the rest.

    My personal favourites:

    1. Train Leaves Here This Morning
    2. Peaceful, Easy Feeling
    3. Chug All Night
    4. Take it Easy
    5. Witchy Woman
    6. Most of Us are Sad
    7. Tryin'
    8. Earlybird
    9. Take the Devil
    10. Nightingale
    All carrot, no stick.
