    Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer passed away last night at the age of 71.

    Another old favourite gone - Keith Emerson was my pin-up when I was 11. I listened to Tarkus last year and it holds up well.

    I was very sorry to hear this news especially that he committed suicide. Really sad. He was so talented & so progressive for his time. ELP were huge when I was in school, but I was a die hard Poco fan. My boyfriend who was a Dj at the school radio station loved ELP & always played them. RIP Keith Emerson.
