I would love to go to something like how the Boston Pops are doing too.
Dan Patrick actually said a few things about Glenn in a new interview he did last night on "Off Camera with Sam Jones". I watch the show weekly as Sam is a director/writer who has great one on one hour long conversations with various actors, writers, directors, musicians, and now people involved with sports and I've known Dan since I was little and watched Sportscenter and his current radio/tv show. I wasn't expecting him to bring up Glenn since I didn't know when this was filmed but it must have been right after Glenn passed. Sam asked Dan about how he deals with interviews and if he can feel from the other person how the conversation should go and Dan replied this:
"Yes, you can tell. We had Glenn Frey on about 8 months before he died and I wanted to ask him so many questions about the Eagles but all Glenn wanted to talk about was the Tigers."
He laughed after and then went on how he loved getting to interview him and talk about sports, which was one of the reasons I loved that interview. I love baseball myself too (am a Giants & Reds fan) and that was really cool hearing him talk about his Tigers. So that was a nice unexpected moment for me.
