Oh, in no way did I intend to marginalize the incredible talent of all members. I just get tired of persons like the DJs I heard. They said, "How many guitars have they got up there?(on stage) Nobody will miss one!"

Everytime I see this clip of Glenn introducing Certain Kind of Fool I am thankful someone captured the innocence of those early years and the pure joy of being in a band living the dream.

Copying this from the Eagles mention thread but Brad Paisley actually mentions Glenn in a lyric in is new song "Last Time for Everything". It debuted online today and the lyric is "Watching Glenn Frey sing "Already Gone" at the Forum in L.A. There’s a last time for everything.” The full song is out now on Spotify and I like it. Made me emotional hearing that though.

That was soo nice of Brad. I love his music. If I remembered, I think Brad paid tribute to Glenn on his facebook page when he died. I could be wrong.
Here's the link to the song from Youtube. The line about Glenn comes in at 1:42.

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Thanks for the heads-up on the Brad Paisley song, Buffyfan and to Shun for posting the video. He also mentions Prince singing "Purple Rain" at the end.

No problem and thanks Shun for the vid. I love the song and each thing he mentions. Such a nice tribute to Glenn, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Prince. And yes Brad did do a tribute when Glenn when he died.
