I wouldn't call Vincent a hidden gem; it's almost as famous as American Pie, but of the two songs I prefer American Pie.

If you are referring to Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven, that is the only possible answer. If G&R did a version of it, I don't want to know.

Both SNAFF and TBIB have lyrics that perhaps need thinking about in terms of PC. I'll make my decision based solely on the tune/music/arrangement.
The Bitch Is Back for me.
BTW: FP, I noted your question wasn't answered, and I was going to answer both. But, Monday night is quiz night on UK TV, and I couldn't do the research necessary as I didn't know all of the songs in both questions.

Re: This or That :Non-Eagles music
AT, I like Love Shack better than Rock Lobster. It's catchier and I could dance to it. Also, I loved it when Stephen Colbert sang the chorus when he was doing basic training before going to Iraq in 2009.
FP, I prefer Edge of Seventeen over Stand Back. The latter reminded me of a Madonna song, but the former is something I could listen to on repeat easily. I like hearing live versions of it b/c it gets extended and it doesn't feel overly long. I don't notice it.

I don't know if this is a fair comparison, but in honor of Buckingham Nicks turning 43 today:
Buckingham Nicks or Say You Will?
I've had thoughts that Say You Will is like a spiritual successor to BN.

Re: This or That :Non-Eagles music
I really like Say You Will, being as half of it is like a LB solo album. I really like LB's solo albums in the 2000s and beyond and feel its a pith that they are't more widely heard. The Nicks songs on SYW are great too. BN has good songs, but SYW is better, IMHO.

Lindsey Buckingham Solo Albums: Gift of Screws or Seeds We Sow?
(If no-one has heard them, I'll come back and change the question. They are on Spotify - hint hint)

Seeds We Sow. It's my second favorite LB solo album behind Out of the Cradle. My mom bought it for me for my16th birthday, and remember playing the CD several times that night.

Stevie Nicks albums: The Wild Heart or Rock a Little ?
(I like Stand Back ! more because of the original Civil War era music video.)

Rock a Little -- I like 'em both but I prefer the "rockier" sound of Rock a Little, plus it has Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You, which I love.

Re: This or That :Non-Eagles music
I will go for Grease as I like the title track a lot. Franki Valli does a great job on it. I saw Grease in London live, except not all of it. I was randomly walking around the West End and ticket touts were selling tickets for shows that had already started really cheap. I think I paid £5 or something.

Bryan Ferry. I don't much about Brian Eno (which is why I didn't reply earlier) and BF sings "Same Old Scene"' which I love and is probably my favorite Roxy Music song.
80s Canadian crooners: Bryan Adams or Corey Hart?
