One Of These Nights
Hotel California
My top two are atill in! This round I might as well stick with Hotel California. I'm actually surprised it has lasted this long, although I DO appreciate its iconic status.

Wow - Heartache Tonight is in real danger of going down this round. As I said for OOTN last round, I'd also be very interested in hearing any counter-arguments for why Heartache Tonight should be eliminated. The reason I think it should stay is because to me, HT is an absolutely incredible performance – it has everything a great performance should. Both the band and the audience are totally into it. There is so much passion and energy. As far as the instrumentation, this is another song where I think the horns really work well and Joe’s slide guitar is awesome. I also love Don’s drumming in the song as well as he and Tim’s incredible harmonies. The band seems to be having a blast with all their playful little antics – Tim’s clapping, Joe pointing at Glenn at the “some people like to stay out late” line, Don’s big grin, and all of Glenn’s animated gestures make for some very special and memorable entertainment.
I was in hopes that Hotel California would go this time because I sure didn't want to try to sacrifice OOTN. But, unfortunately, it looks like the only way to save Heartache tonight is ban together and not to split the vote. So, if you want to save Heartache Tonight, join with me and ...
