I didn't vote in the last round because I would have been just about as happy with either one. Neither one would have been my choice for the top two, but they're both fair competitors. So congrats to Already Gone!
Dreamer, thanks for running this. It was fun. I especially liked the little blurbs you made up to send the songs off the island!
CONGRATS TO ALREADY GONE!
I love this song so much! Good game everyone! Thanks for all the comments and for playing!
And thanks to Austin for putting up the rockin' video!
Any of the last three could have won and I wouldn't have been too disappointed! They are all fabulous songs and performances in this video!

First of all -
Congratulations to Already Gone!
And shoot, I just noticed that my links to the downloads aren't working. I'll go back and try to fix those when I get time. But, thanks for your link, Austin.
I hadn't gotten around to mentioning this because I've been so busy at work, and then preparing for my trip to Austin. Going into the final round of this game, Already Gone and Life in the Fast Lane had the same number of previous votes (9 apiece) ... what that means is that if the final round had been tied, then the game would have ended in a tie. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of ties, but in this case, I would have been fine with it since I was very torn about which performance to vote for. It was very close, but Life in the Fast Lane feel just a tad bit short - so congrats to Life in the Fast Lane as well - a very worthy challenger, indeed.

Congratulations to Already Gone. I'm heartened that a song that's a little different from the recorded version has emerged victorious.
I'm still unsure of the impact of the Eagles dvds.
I had to watch the DVD twice to re-acquaint myself with something I've paid very little attention to since I bought it.
Were there any voters that view the Eagles DVDs more often that they listen to the original LPs or CDs?
