I find the lyrics in "What do I do with my heart" even more puzzling. At first Glenn says, "I'm not gonna say a word, I know I can't change your mind. Is that intentional? Was the idea that the guy tries to be strong, but finally "breaks down" at the end of the song? Or did they not notice that the guy says two different things?
