Glenn made an appearance at the National Academy of Television's Mid-America Chapter Emmy presentations earlier this evening. It seems it came as a surprise to most.

seems odd...any idea where it was?
Kansas City. My guess is that Glenn is a friend of Les Garland.
Google doesn't show many links between the two but there was this from back in 2008 about the opening of a new arena in Missouri:
https://eaglesonlinecentral.com/foru...hp/t-1472.html“We had planned for the Nov. 22-23 basketball weekend to be the opening events for JQH Arena,” said Randy Blackwood, executive director of athletics and entertainment facilities, “but when we had the chance to book the Eagles, we jumped at it. What a way for Springfield to get back on the major concert map.
“We owe a special debt of gratitude to Mr. Les Garland and Mr. Mike Ingram, two good friends of the university, who worked with President (Michael T.) Nietzel and Missouri State to make this concert a reality. Quite frankly, had it not been for Mr. Garland and Mr. Ingram, this concert would not have been booked. We very much appreciate their assistance.”
Very interesting! Thanks VA & UTW!
Another picture of that good looking man...

Wish I could hang with Glenn Frey!
The name Les Garland means nothing to me but new photos are always special.
I saw one of the pics from this on FB earlier too. Sounds like a cool event. Glenn is looking great as usual. Lovely pics too. Thanks for posting VA

Thanks for posting this VA. Ya just never know what city Glenn might show up in these days. He seems to be doing a lot more of these types of events in recent times.
