So, by virtue of the tiebreaker rule, the next song performance to be eliminated in the Hell Freezes Over DVD Survivor is The Last Resort. “The Last Resort, the tribe has spoken, so you can leave it all behind, and sail to Lahaina. You must kiss this paradise goodbye and leave the island immediately.

I really like the background aah aahs and I like Joe's singing, but there is just not a lot going on that is particularly interesting or moving about it. Also, I think it would have been sweet to go from TIE to LITFL to Get Over It.

Nah, there's only one of the 3 Joe songs I find truly spectacular on HFO. The other 2 are just plain old great. I hope everyone knows I'm not really mad. Just playing the game. I'll reserve my right to vote until a little later.

I'm afraid not and I hate to do this to you, but I am now voting for Love Will Keep Us Alive, which consists of them sitting in a line strumming, Tim singing the blandest lyrics of any Eagles song, and the most anonymous un Eagles sounding harmonies Glenn & Don have ever done. And it's a cover. It is my least favourite song & performance on this DVD & I wanted it to go from the start, but held back because I know how popular it is. When I saw what happened to TGFY I realised I shouldn't have.

Also the next few performances I will be voting for aren't particular favourites of mine either. I am ambivalent about HFO at best. I think most of it could have been so much better that it's hard to be very enthusiastic about it.

I didn't know LWKUA is a cover. I know Paul Carrack wrote it, but didn't know he released it before the Eagles did. Will have to hear that version.
