Rim shot! Thank you, Luvy.
I wonder if she'll mention Glenn. Didn't he produce one of her albums? Maybe not. He sang back-up on her debut album though.
Glenn started producing WILD HEART OF THE YOUNG, but for some reason, didn't finish it and Kenny Edwards took over. I'm not sure if Glenn's work was scrapped, but he has absolutely no credits on that album. If you look at the jacket, his name is nowhere which I found odd and still do.
Follow-up on Karla Bonoff, whom I saw last night. Her voice is remarkably unchanged, which amazes me because she must be pushing 70.
Anyway, she mentioned "my old friend, Glenn Frey" in a poignant/funny intro to her one hit, "Personally," which she didn't write. She said she was at Glenn's house one night and they were listening to obscure r&b songs that he had on numerous cassettes. Apparently he had a vast collection! Anyway, when "Personally" played, Glenn said he was thinking of sending it to Bonnie Raitt for her to record but Karla claimed it

All of the special things about you
Thank you, sweet Luv. An extra treat is that Karla is accompanied by guitarist Nina Gerber, who is amazing. I'd seen her play acoustic guitar at a festival some years ago, but she's mostly playing electric in Karla's show and she's brilliant. Reminded me of Mark Knopfler.
