Great review! Saw Jackson last year and LOVED it. Unfortunately, he is not coming here on tour this year. Sounds like you had a great time!

I just saw Jackson in September, an amazing concert. I see he has some solo acoustic shows in January, I wish he were coming near me, I'd love to see that show!!
JB is amazing! So natural and cute! Love!
Dreamer, you must go if at all possible!

I'm seeing another JB. A few minutes ago I bought a ticket to see Joe Bonamassa at his show in Cardiff this evening!
Congrats UTW. Enjoy the show!

Thanks FP. I remembered the name from when you went to see Joe Bonamassa but I'd never actually heard him. I have an Amazon Prime subscription and have been trying a few of their playlists. Last Friday, I was listening to "50 Great Rock Guitar Solos" and in with all the usual suspects was "Sloe Gin" which made me look up who was singing and playing. Further research showed he was touring the UK with Cardiff being the closest (about 50 miles away) so I took that as a sign that I should go.
It was a good test of the "old vs new" as all the songs were new too me. While it was good, I think I'd have enjoyed it more if I'd had time to listen to more of his music before going. There was also a slight problem with the sound - I think it was a bit too loud and this caused some distortion and buzzing. Or maybe that was intentional. It didn't seem so bad later on so maybe they tried to fix it or I just got used to it.
Amazon Prime has quite a lot of Joe Bonamassa music available for streaming, so I'll certainly carry on listening.
More than anything, it's shown me that I can go to these shows by myself and that's a liberating experience.
UtW, good for you! Glad you had a good time!
I don't know JB though.
