Not quite sure where to post this, but I read a Google news article about the Forum shows will kick off with a benefit concert on 1/13/14 for the Lustgarden Foundation that the Dolans support. They do a lot of fundraising for the organization at Madison Square Garden, so it is natural they would do something with the Forum opening. One of the groups performing is the Eagles, what a surprise!

The LA Times Arts & Books section has a nice article on the re-opening of the Forum complete with a picture of what the theater-like seats look like.
Also for those who have nose-bleed-seats, not to worry as the distance from top tier to the floor is only 80 feet unlike Staples which is 110 feet from the floor.
Can't wait. Tickets for 3 shows secured with 3 to go!

I wonder if the "movie-theater seats" extend to the floor seating? It would be nice not to sit in folding chairs shoved together so tightly that one can barely move.
