Anyone else not seeing it? I can.
Welcome, Jmorgs - I can see it.
Send it to Joe on Twitter or FB and ask him, maybe he'll reply. I've seen where someone sent Felder a pic of a guitar that was supposedly his and he replied (it definitely wasn't - he had never even owned that type)...give it a shot!
Thanks Mary. I just sent one via FB to Don Felder. Let me now check out Joe. I suspect that Don is more likely to reply.
Got that guitar from a very popular session muscian in Florida in 1977. He said that Joe used it on Hotel California.
I see it now. Nice that you asked Felder. The thing to do is to look through photos of Joe and see if you ever see that color Tele, then compare the wood grain. Must be a pretty clear photo of Joe, obviously. Because this guitar is bare, and if it always was, the wood grain is the way to I.D. it if Don or Joe can't.

I knew Joey Murcia since his days playing in The Birdwatchers .. not sure how you got the guitar from him but from what I've read "Yes" this guitar belonged to Joe Walsh .. I don't remember it having the Stop Tail Piece and the tune-a-matic bridge (seen in the photo) .. but Joe giving a Telecaster to Joey Murcia happened like this > Joey was at Bayshore Studio in Coconut Grove working on Jay Ferguson's Lp .. He had brought a Cuban Coffee maker in and was making coffee Joe Walsh liked the coffee so much he traded the guitar for Joey's Cuban Coffee Maker .. the time line of 1977 is correct .. Joey Murcia is the person who suggested the reggae feel for Hotel California .. I'd like to know how you got the guitar
I was a personal friend of Joey Murcia at this time and Joe Walsh did in fact give a tele to Joey. If you got this from Joey then it is probably the one Joe gave him.
