Happy borderversary, LT! I enjoy reading your posts. You're a very kind and sweet person.
In school news, I'm sucking on an essay that's worth 20% of my final grade in a class. I made a C on the first draft, and an F on the second draft. I have the final draft due by midnight on Monday. I'm sort of panicking because of how important this final draft is. If I flunk this essay, my 95 in the class will plummet to a C at best. Needless to say, I will be asking my teacher for help in the morning. This is the class that's worth the least, but I still want to get a B or better in it.
If I could ask for thoughts and prayers for my grandmother's family, that would be greatly appreciated. Her older son's wife passed away on Monday, only about a month after his father died.

AG, good luck with your essay. I'm sure if you ask for help, that will help in the outcome. Prayers for your grandmother's family too.

Southern Gothic Fiction. I have to take 2 stories I've read in the class( Willam Faulkner's "A Rose for Emily" and Carson McCullers' " The Ballad of the Sad Café"), and compare and contrast 3 traits of the genre that are in both stories. My teacher wants a "works cited" page, which I've never done before, and she's requiring the introductory paragraph to be written in a way that's different from what I learned in school. I'm trying to adapt as I go. I did email my teacher a few minutes ago to ask for help after class tomorrow. ( Even though this in my online class, the teacher also teaches my English Composition class.)
