VA- I sure hope you are better soon!
Not a whole lot happening in my house. I've been on a new medication for my arthritis and it made my stomach hurt terribly. So last week I went to the injectable form of the drug, much better on the stomach. I was a little needle shy also, so I know how you feel VA. It took me 5 minutes to stick myself! My daughter called me a baby. Huh! But on the good side, it didn't hurt at all. You forget those little needles are sharp. The medication really helps so I hope I can take it without horrible side effects. It's a cancer drug so kinda scary. Our weather is spring like, so that's a plus in Feb.

I went back to work yesterday, at my company's office that's only a block from my apartment. I coughed all day long and annoyed everyone. Today I went to the customer site and it wasn't too bad. Not a lot of coughing, but all day long people seemed to enjoy the fact they could say what they wanted and I couldn't respond. I'll remember this when I get my voice back!! I can't believe I've gone eleven days without speaking, only whispering.

VA, you poor thing! Hope you are back to normal soon!
My little buddy is down again with an echo virus. I had never heard of it before. He has a bumpy rash on his face, neck, and abdomen. He could have fever, but thankfully he hasn't. And it could be serious if there were complications, but all is well so far. I took off work yesterday morning to keep him and will again tomorrow. Between his mommy and daddy and me, we are keeping him home away from daycare. I try to help out as much as I can so they don't have to miss work. I have paid days off and they don't. Bad thing is, he got it at daycare. One of the other kids had it there last week. Ugh!

My poor mother has been suffering with shingles on her face for almost two weeks now. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers, please!

For me, this laryngitis gives the people at work an easy thing to pick on me about. Lots of comments about how quiet the meetings are, and if people don't agree with something to speak up, and stuff like that. I have no idea why the people in my life like to pick on me!! I'm such a sweet person....

Soda, your poor mother!! I keep saying I'm going to get the shingles vaccination but I never do. I will keep her in my prayers.
