I was very lucky. They shortend the trial exams in February to make up the two days for the exam students. So other than being a bit more pressured around exam time its business as usual. But great that we don't have to make it up

Enjoying a free day today!
Lots to do though. I'm planning to start getting the tax stuff together and a few odd jobs around the house. Then tonight is our annual staff/board dinner at a restaurant in Hannibal. Good food, questionable company!

I have the day off, too!! Took the truck in today to have the brakes checked, the thing was hopping up and down like a kangaroo when I used the brakes. They turned the back rotors and it's a little better now. Glad it's still under warranty!
I then went to get my nails done and the shop was closed for the holiday, which they don't normally do. Will have to squeeze it in tomorrow or Wednesday, since I must look spiffy for Mr. Seger on Thursday night!!!!!

I'm doing pretty well with my asthma medicine and allergy shots. I really am glad to finally be able to get around without dyspnea (that's a fancy word for short of breath! )
Austin, good news!

great news Austin, stay well!
Heading up to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning to see Seger in concert. Since I washed all my credit cards and ATM card in the washing machine tonight, it'll be interesting getting gas and food. I turned the house upside down and found a Discover card that needed to be activated, so it wasn't in the wallet that got washed. It's something, at least.
On Friday, I'll be going to see my 89-year old aunt in the hospital. She got pneumonia and has been in all week. She's getting better, it'll just take a while. Since she had TB when she was young, it doesn't take much for her to get a bad cough and have it develop into something.

MIA today babysitting my grandson who is sick with ear infection and running a fever. On his first birthday, no less! Poor baby!
