Ok folks
Let's remember that this is a stressful time of the year .
We all have our issues and our crosses to bear in this life and at times I think things in all our lives becomes too much.
So prayers to all.....since we all need them.

Hang in there SC. Hopefully things will improve. You can't shoulder everything so prioritise what is important to you.

As for the loan calls, isn't that illegal to call you so many times.? Over here you can only get one call per month about an unpaid loan.

I was on strike yesterday. NOT for more money, but for protecting the educational standards which we hold as being very important and which our government in its wisdom wants to lower in favour of money saving measures!

Wow, Thursday already! I'm way behind here since the last weekend and another is coming up!

Decorated the house for Christmas last weekend. Still have a few things to finish up but need to go to town!

This week, besides being a hellish one at work, my grandson has been sick with ear infection...poor baby! He also doesn't like to take his medicine. I've been helping out the last two mornings while his daddy sleeps after working in to the wee hours and his mommy goes to school. Daycare doesn't want him when he is sick so, luckily, I could take off a few hours to help out. He is usually quite active and happy, so when all he wants to do is lay in your arms you know somethings wrong! He is crawling everywhere and takes a step or two by himself now. Such a blessing to us! But I hurt when he hurts!

My mother passed away today about 1:30 pm. Thank you all for your prayers. I was with her yesterday and drove 2 hours home last night. Went down today but she died while I was on the road going to see her.

My sympathies to you and your family Sad Cafe. I didn't get to be with my Mom when she passed either. It will be a rough go but memories and time will help heal a little bit, day by day. I still talk with my Mom every morning and think about the good memories we had. She's been gone since July but tears still come almost daily. Sometimes happy ones sometimes sad. SC, sorry about your loss but it's good that you were able to spend time with her yesterday. We can't always be there at the end but your mother would know that your thoughts were with her.
