Journalist Helen Thomas dead at age 92

[Ive always been a dreamer]

Veteran White House journalist Helen Thomas has passed away after a lengthy illness. She was such a pioneer and truly broke down the barrier for women in the field of journalism. As a long-time member of the White House press corp, she gained the respect and admiration of most all of the presidents she covered, in spite of her tough and relentless journalistic style. She had a long, full, and privileged life and career and is someone who really made a difference in this world.

I must admit I've not heard of her, but she sounds like a groundbreaker in American female journalism. I would imagine quite brave for her time.
