JDFan! I love your pictures, particularly the one of the sunset. I love chasing sunsets wherever we go, and that one is beautiful.
Cathy, Those Fall pics are gorgeous too, as are the ones of the birds. Do you go up close to them or are you using a long lens?

Thanks GA. I did not want to invest in an SLR camera and have to buy interchangeable lenses, so I opted for a point and shoot with a zoom lens. Mine is a Sony Cyber-Shot with a 30X optical zoom.

Pm, your photo of the Great Horned Owl reminds me of one that showed up in our back yard a few years ago. One day I noticed it sitting in the edge of our back yard. The next day it had moved closer to the house. The next day it was sitting on the wing wall of our house! That was kind of spooky, that it kept moving closer to the house! We even fed it some pieces of bacon. Evidently it was sick or it would never have come so close to people. The next day it was dead out in the middle of the yard. Poor thing. I have a picture somewhere. I'll try to find it.
