Wow! That is something to be proud of! I love the stone on the front, and the window is magnificent! Did you have the house built? How old is it? Is that you hubby sitting on the front porch?

It looks like you have two sets of stairs on your upper deck. That's really nice! Do you have a lawn service treat your grass? It's so green!

Home should be someplace you enjoy coming to and someplace that says, "this is me". You've really done a wonderful job Brooke. Thanks for posting.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.

OMG Brooke! That really looks like a gorgeous home, I hope you are justifiably proud of all the effort you have put into it. And your pics are lovely too.

    Oh my! Thank you everyone!

From what I've seen of yours Pm, it's lovely too.

My husband built our house. It was a family project meaning our kids were still at home and helped too. Yes, that's him and he would be horrified if he knew he was on the 'net! lol

He does our lawn too. I do help mow though when he's too busy. We do enjoy it and it's something we like to work on together. We've built 3 homes and this one just about did us in! I think the older we got, the harder it was for us! Working day jobs and then working on building the house evenings was a LOT of work! And we love the location. It's private and secluded, so I think we finally got it right and are satisified to stay here. We have discussed selling and doing it again, but I'm not really up for the work.

You should be proud of yourselves, Brooke, your home is lovely - and it looks like a true "home" that brings joy to people living there.

Brooke - I've told you before, but I love your house, especially the stone on the front - that's a very nice touch!
