I thought he sounded pretty good! Glad to see him doing both those songs and playing the harmonica!

On the contrary, it sounds to me that he is ever-so-slightly holding back, so that he will not overdo it. I'm sure that under his circumstances if he said he couldn't do they wouldn't make him do it. Glenn's not going to pull a Glenn/Randy ultimatum on him. I'll have to listen some more.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.

Maybe he was told to take it easy on his voice so it would last through the tour!

    I can't wait until October.

I just pray the magic continues

I think Timothy's voice sounds good, I don't know the technical singing terms, but it seems like he's "throttling back" a little or not singing in full voice, and it works in both of these songs. Is he singing in a lower key on ICTYW? The other Eagles are stepping up and singing the high notes of "I can't" to help him out. I like it. He definitely has made some adjustments, but his voice sounds smoooooth, just like him!!

It doesn't help that the guy taking the video or someone nearby with an awful man voice is singing over our guys.

I must respectfully disagree. I consider myself somewhat of an expert on Timothy's voice after studying it for over several decades and I think he's sounding superb!! Better than ever, I daresay. I think they arranged several of the songs on this tour to fit the changing voices and must say, I think it's working wonderfully. The videos for LWKUA and ICTYW for this Cleveland show are fantastic proof of that (aside from the people singing along). Especially ICTYW--it was spot on! And, if anything, he is as others have said, possibly holding back a bit. I think just looking at his facial expressions as he sings makes me think that might just be the case.
He sings it high, he plays it low

I think they all have to bear in mind not to oversing each night-- singing so many songs on so many nights so close together can be hell on the vocal cords. And due to his surgery and any slight scarring, he may be more susceptible to polyps or nodules due to overuse. So he's probably been instructed by doctors, etc., on how to take care of things this tour, maintain quality but risk unnecessary strain.

Maybe you’re right. I’m just concerned about his health.

Seems to me that playing harmonica would be a struggle if your throat wasn't 100%....wouldn't it?

Actually, playing harmonica is tougher if you have a compromised breathing issue. I don't think it's too tough on the throat judging from my own somewhat limited experiences playing it.
