In regards to Rusty Young - who could not like Timothy? He seems so sweet and down to earth!

So I have another question for all of you TBS experts out there I though that I had read his dad was Hispanic? I always thought that he looked like he had some Native American blood ( those lovely cheekbones!). Anyone know his mix of nationalities?

The information about Rusty Young is over in the Poco thread - someone read a book and got that out of it.

Timothy's dad was Latin American - from 2 countries, I can't remember which off the top of my head - like Colombia and something else. His father was adopted by a child by the Schmits (Timothy's grandparents). You can see a picture of his dad on Timothy's official website...wait, I just checked it out and it appears his website has been redesigned! No photos?? I'm gonna make a new thread for this...

Timothy was asked in a radio interview in 2012 if he was Native American, and he replied: “Not that I know.” He said that he didn’t know much about his father’s side except that he had been adopted and that his grandmother from his dad’s side was from Mexico and his grandfather from his dad’s side was Chilean. He also said that his maternal grandfather was from Denmark.
As far as I know, most Mexicans and Chileans are mestizos, a blend of Europeans and Native Americans (Amerindians).
