    Sorry to do this but you are thinking of a National, which is used in the song Romeo & Juliet. The guitar played by Mark Knopfler in the Walk Of LIfe video is a Felder Telecaster.

    I should've put "the guy in the subway". In the video for Walk of Life, there's a guy playing guitar in the subway, peddling for money. He's playing some time of chrome looking guitar. That guitar reminds me of the guitar Joe has in the picture. (The holes in the body mainly) I know that they're not the same guitar, though.     Yes, that is indeed a National which is not the same as Joe's guitar. That is not the version of the video I am familiar with. Sorry for going off topic.
