    Default two questions I didn't find on previous threads

    Hello,

    Here are a couple of questions I didn't see on previous threads.

    1. Was Glenn's son Otis named after a famous Otis in music?
    2. I think he was arrested back in the 70's but I never saw what it was about. I'm sure I can guess but just checking.

    As far as I know Otis was named after Otis Redding.

    There was an incident in the early 70s when Glenn was arrested for DUI, I think.

    In 1973 Glenn was arrested for drug possession and public intoxication, but not DUI - he had the sense to stay off the road.

    Maybe he saw that the officer had put down "small" next to "build."

    Not exactly his finest hour!

    Love it--I can't imagine "small" thrilled him, but he might have been too stoned to notice (or care!)

    So, do we know (or surmise) if Deacon's name has any music roots? All I can think of is Steely Dan's "Deacon Blues".... whiahi would also fulfill his love of sports/football, with the song's sports allusions...
