    Thanks WF!

I remember watching this and thinking, "This is the most normal I've ever seen Joe Walsh act."

    No kidding.

Love the advice Joe gives them during the concert.

Now see, I found that a little condescending, maybe not with the youngest guy; I hadn't ever heard of him. But to be giving advice to the likes of Sara Evans and Kenny Chesney who have been around for years seemed a little lame to me.

Pm, I kinda felt the same way. Sara and Kenny especially have been very successful for years.

Actually Kenny wasn't at the roundtable. It was Sara Evans, Luke Bryan, and Hunter Hayes... 2 of which could have used the advice, IMO... Luke is fairly new and has a lot of growing up to do from what I've seen, and Hunter is just starting out. He's like the Country version of Justin Bieber. Not real impressed with him.

But yes, to the likes of Kenny or Sara it would have come across off-putting. Billy Gibbons was also sitting at that table and Joe certainly wasn't going to give him advice.

Point taken about Kenny not being at the roundtable. I just remember feeling uncomfortable during that part. But you're right about Luke Bryan and Hunter Hayes.

Yeah, I went back and checked about Kenny being at the table too and he wasn't. I did feel uncomfortable for Sara though.

True... I'm hoping Joe wasn't aiming it at Sara and certainly not Billy, Billy has been around in music as long as Joe has.

But Hunter Hayes could use some advice. One minute he's doing bluesy stuff and the next it's Bieber on the piano singing cheesy pop music...

I feel the same about John Mayer. Now he can REALLY play great blues when he wants to, but he chooses to do for the most part, some very cheesy pop songs. That's why I prefer Kenny Wayne Shepherd for modern day SRV style Strat blues... He stays true to his roots and even in the more "off the beaten path" songs he does, they aren't that cheesy pop stuff.

But I love John Mayer's voice! Love some of his songs! Not that crazy about him, though...he's just weird and nasty.

Not to get off topic, but I too really like John Mayer's music. "Gravity" is very bluesy and one of my favorites.

I doubt Sara took offense to Joe giving advice. She might even feel flattered to be grouped with the young 'uns, lol.
