I'm currently listening to Fleetwood Mac's first album - the one with Peter Green released in 1968. It's pretty much an entirely different beast from their music post 1975. It's all English blues - no pop or rock here!
I really like Lindsey's guitar playing myself, although if there is one thing I would say it's that his best stuff was mostly on the self-titled and Rumours albums. Probably the single biggest problem with Tango In The Night is the lack of guitars, which IMO only emphasises how dated the rest of the instrumentation sounds and even when the guitar does appear on songs like Isn't It Midnight, it sounds way too generic - I can't hear his usual style on it.
Anyway, I'm currently listening to Pink Floyd's The Nile Song from the More soundtrack album. The song doesn't sound much like typical Floyd and is the closest they ever came to heavy metal. If you don't believe me, have a listen for yourself!
Have A Drink On Me - AC/DC
Closed hand, full of friends - Foy Vance
"The more I know, the less I understand...."
Don't crack up, bend your brain, see both sides, throw off your mental chains"
Remedy - The Black Crowes
I guess I'm more watching the videos rather than just listening, but I am obsessed with 12-year Maddie Ziegler dancing in Sia's Chandelier video and live performances. Then, I get the song stuck in my head, but I really like it. The child's dancing is mesmerizing, she has appeared with Sia (who doesn't show her face when she performs) on the Grammys, Ellen. Fallon, Kimmel, SNL, etc...Anyone else like it?
Hotel California - Eagles
Dire Straits - Why Worry?
A great song to listen to for relaxing I think.
