90? What is that in Celcius? 32!?!?!? At this time of year?
I'm just hoping that we'll have cool dry weather for Saturday so that I can try and break my record for my longest ever cycle ride in one day, but it looks likely to be wet.

Good luck to you, AT. There's certainly no grass growin' on you, what with your endurance biking and swimming efforts.
I feel like a slug these days, as I've not been exercising for the past week due to a back injury.
Injuries = take it easy. (Now, where have I heard that before?)
Better to heal and be back into it sometime soon than exacerbate the injury and be out of action much longer.
TL;DR: Get well soon.
BTW: My exploits are modest compared to some. How about Goran Kopp, who cycled from Sweden to Mount Everest, climbed Mount Everest with the equipment he had brought with him on his bicycle, and then he cycled back again. That puts my little cycle rides down to the shops (by comparison) in perspective

But I bet Goran doesn't have a full-time job and a family like yourself.
Nearing 20 degrees above normal here today! 80F today, then cooling to the mid 60's later in the week. Normal for this time of year is 59F for a daytime high.
Our fall has not been as pretty as normal this year. Trees here and there have nice color, but overall they are kind of dull. No brilliant hillsides. Now those pretty ones are losing their leaves.

Tonight, I'm right across the Mississippi River, west of Memphis. It has been very warm here today, too- 90 degrees on the car's thermostat at one point.

Looking forward to hearing from AG95. If I'm remembering her location correctly, she had some nasty weather this weekend. Hoping she and her home and family are all OK.
Oh I do too.
I see there is flood warnings in LA. I heard someone say when I was there last weekend that they had had their first proper rain in 5 years that Friday. Now they have more...
Trust an Irish woman to bring rain with her to LA

I hope our Border people in Mississippi and Georgia are okay, after the terrible devastation of those tornadoes.
I too am anxious to hear from AG.
Prayers for all those affected by the bad storms.
