Little things that remind you of the Eagles (5/07 - 10/15)

Time Team the other night did an excavation at a village called Glendon in Northamptonshire.

There is a shop in Sydney which sells food and other things from England and yesterday I treated myself to a Fry's Choolate Cream Bar. I loved them when I was a kid but they are not on general sale in Australia these days. I bought hubby some Alpen (muesli) and some Polo mints. Memories!

I joked to the woman in the shop that I wished it was licenced so I could get hubby some English beer. She then wanted to know where he was from. 'Newcastle'. 'So Brown Ale, then. Where in Newcastle?' 'South Shields'. 'I'm from Whickham'.

Thanks for your compliments JM88. As you are new to the board I must explain that she is an avid Eagles fan. The fact that we also nick name her 'Timtot' will give you an idea of her 'leanings'. She came to London with myself Glenneaglesfan and Mrs Frey (Other board members) last March to see the boys live.

I do believe she is a genius with really great taste in men!!!

I took my son to the driving range the other day, and nearly turned into the wrong entrance - Fry's Nursery! My son just rolled his eyes!

This morning I had the local morning news on and the announcer was giving a list of upcoming interviews. The one that caught my eye was with "Glenn the Car Care Guy"!
