My daughter got junior scrabble for Christmas from my sister. When we went to play it last night (for the first time ) four of the first 5 letters that I drew totally at random were E A G L !!

A few months ago, one of my friends was reading a Stephen King's book called Christine. I took briefly a look at it and stumbled upon this quote at the beginning of a chapter: "I packed up my car and I got some gas, and told everybody they could kiss my ass"...
This surely reminds you of someone
And by the way, happy new year to everyone, it's my first post for 2008!

Reminds me of someone too Claire! I LOVE that line, and I love the way he smiles as he sings it.

Bonne Annee to you too Claire!

That's too funny, Claire! I read that book well before I knew who Glenn Frey was.

    Happy New Year to you!

Oh wow, Claire. Thanks for that info. I'm now going to have to get that book just so I can get a copy of that in print. It's good to know that Stephen King would quote any of our guys in his books.

And Happy New Year from me, too.

I've missed a bit in this thread over the last while!

DF, that is just SO COOL!

Soda, that is hilarious! You are so sharp!

GA, you are raising your daughter right!

GEF, thanks for that information about the Eagles Touring Company address. Good grief, what a coincidence!

GA, I have to warn you: the Eagles have crept into your brain and are controlling your every move... They're psychic, too...

In all seriousness, that is amazing!
