Last night watching Desperate Housewives at the beginning when the narrator was explaining why the Wisteria Lane burglar was never caught, she said it was an "inside job" meaning that Carlos was the accidental "burglar". I thought of Don's solo song immediately!
And I don't even really like that song!

I better don't read here anymore because I don't want to know anything about DH. Still the 3rd season here.Originally Posted by Brooke

How can love survive in such a graceless age?
Our minister was sick yesterday so we had a guest preacher. He was preaching on stewardship, and he tried very hard but wasn’t very experienced (or very good), so my mind had begun to wander during the sermon. Suddenly I heard him say, “There is a country song and I don’t know the name of it or even know who wrote it, but there is a line that goes, ‘you don’t see no hearses with luggage racks,’ and that is what I am trying to tell you—you can’t take it with you, so give generously.”
I got a big grin on my face, and I leaned over to my daughter and whispered, “That is a Don Henley song! It's called Gimme What You Got,” and she laughed.
After church I shook the guest preacher's hand, told him I enjoyed the sermon, and told him the line he quoted was from Don Henley and he said, "Don Henley--from the Eagles? I don't think so." My daughter smiled at him & said, "It won't do you any good to argue with my mother about the Eagles. Believe me, she knows what she is talking about."
Haha! Cute DonFan!

Thats brilliant!! DF. I challenge any one to argue with you over either The Eagles or Don! I know who'll come off second best

I really enjoyed reading that, DF! I can just imagine what the guest preacher must have been thinking when you told him who the singer of the song he'd quoted from was . I love the way your daughter stood up for you!
I've got a peaceful, easy feeling
And I know Glenn won't let me down
Me neither! We probably won't get series 4 until after Christmas over here!Originally Posted by EasyFeeling

Too funny, DF.
GA, I have no clue when the 4th season starts here. Hopefully they don't let us wait too long because it's like an addiction for me.
