Last night I was watching Boom Town with Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy. It's an old movie from the 40s. Anyway, they said "Take it easy" to each other several times and, of course, every time I grinned!

This is almost a six degrees of separation thing, lol, but I was flicking through the Sky channels earlier, and there was a film on named Machine Gun Kelly. This reminded me of the James Taylor song, which was written by the lovely Danny Kortchmar... which, in turn of course, reminded me of Mr. Henley.

See - Eagles connections are everywhere! You just have to look hard enough.

This is a bit peripheral but we are watching Series 3 of Rescue Me starring Denis Leary, and Patti D'Arbanville, who played Amber in the Dead Dog arc of Wiseguy, has a small role. She looks a lot older these days (obviously).

I was looking at the books for sale today at the library where I work, and one of them was called "The Eagle". It's a coffee table book with gorgeous pics of Eagles in flight and otherwise. Of course, I thought of our guys immediately!

Writing about King Henry V, I found myself typing "King Henley V" instead - on several occasions in the paper, as I found upon double-checking. Now that's just sad.

I was watching the Dublin Horse show on Friday last and an Irish rider was jumping on a horse called 'K-Club lady. I'm sure you all know why I would have loved that as a nickname, and who it reminded me of!
