He sings it high, he plays it low
The episode of the big Australian true crime drama last night was entitled 'Business As Usual'. Common phrase I know, but still....
There's an advert on TV that is shown all the time at the moment. It features a version of It's Not Easy Bein' Green... Sadly not Don's, but still! I can't help but smile when I hear it.

Today I was checking books into the library, and the first one I checked in was by author Stephen FREY. Of course, I had to smile.
I was reminded of my fellow Borderers yesterday when I was driving and saw a license plate that had the letters EL and GA on it. Sad, I know. I can't even drive without my mind being on the Eagles or the Border in one way or another. I also got my weekly itunes email yesterday and some artist (that i've never heard of) has a new album out called Troubadour. Yup, that's right, i was thinkin of Lou.

Jess -that reminds me. We were listening to the radio last night while Larry was making dinner and an advert for an upcoming Gordon Lightfoot concert came on and they called him the "Troubadour of folk". Then a few songs later, played a Two For Tuesday of our guys. I think I heard a small groan from the man standing at the stove. I chose to ignore it!

I've been reminded of members here when seeing number plates and suchlike. Always brings a smile! Troub, I must look out for that "green" ad.
My crossword on Saturday had the clue "1973 song by The Eagles (sic), covered by The Carpenters in 1975 and Susie Quattro in 2007" 9 letters, starting with D! Maybe this will be my lucky week!
Yesterday I had to fill in an application form for accommodation for my younger son at Reading University, and was chuffed to see that one of the campuses is at Henley!
I was out with some friends the other night at a bar. They like to play pool and they are in a pool league. This is the first time that I got to see them play and the team's home bar is called Shiloh's. I'm trying to talk my friend into getting me one of those shirts.

Very cool, Jess!
I see this place every day, and I finally got around to taking a sneaky photo of it. Anyone wanna flat-share?
