Lucky Nevada - this is the second show Don is playing there this year, when he's played practically nowhere else (not to mention it is also the location of the only remaining Eagles show this year).

I can't find it on Planet Hollywood's site. It's not an easy site to navigate, but I'm wondering what the deal is. I'm hoping this is a warm-up that leads to an announcement of both album release date and a tour...that includes DC. Yeah, I don't ask for much.

That's possible. However, it's more likely that the owners of Planet Hollywood knew their VIPs would enjoy a show by a performer of Don Henley's caliber, so they hired him to perform a one-off as a perk for their high rollers. (I see from the Craig's List invite that this is billed as a "Seven Stars" event, which is the name of their highest-tier rewards program.)

Despite the fact that I don't think this show was planned to coincide or presage his album's release, I think surely that must be coming before too long. Just a few months ago at his Reno show, he said it would be coming out in the fall. While delays are nothing new, I'm hoping that any delays that occur now would only be a matter of a few months.

Soda, if I call them & they have tickets, I may be tempted to head out there. Unfortunately, that isn't possible right now. I'm still trying to figure out if I can do Vegas in Nov. LOL

I saw several tweets today that said the show was tonight. All the links said it was tomorrow night. It doesn't show up on Planet Hollywood's calendar at all. Maybe it's both nights?

Apparently, he did a Meet and Greet today...

BTW, there were several other tweets about a show tonight. Of course, they're in Vegas and perhaps have lost track of the time.
