You can see the stars and still not see the light.
Finally got one today and really enjoyed the article.
Found it today in Walmart!

1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
Yep - That is strange. And shoot - I was out shopping today and I meant to look for issue, but totally forgot about it.

But surely if it's a cover story on Stevie then she's the one who will be written about? She's had a huge career of her own as well as her Fleetwood Mac work.
I don't think I was very clear in my earlier post. What I meant was that I'm surprised Fleetwood Mac wasn't on the cover! Fleetwood Mac is in the middle of an epic tour - their first with the Rumours lineup since 1998. If it were to promote Stevie's latest album, I could see why they would do it, but she barely mentions 24 Karat Gold. It's basically a "celebration of Stevie." Well-deserved of course - but the timing is still surprising. It seems like that could wait until Fleetwood Mac were through with their tour.
FP - I am aware that Stevie has had a successful solo career. Think of it this way: it would be like seeing a cover story focusing solely on Don Henley's solo career during the History of the Eagles tour.
I just assumed that the timing was to coincide with the release of her new album which was why I mentioned her solo career. Usually cover story = new album, not tour. If it had to do with touring the Eagles would have made the cover a few more times since the LROOE cover. However I see what you are saying about the momentous reunion with Christine. I had forgotten about that (shame on me)! I haven't got the issue myself yet but I will in the next few weeks as I subscribe to the American edition of RS.
