Eagles Top 40 Songs - Border Poll

In another thread, one of our members, BBKron, suggested that we compile an official The Border 40th Anniversary Top 40 Eagles Songs to commemorate the band's 40th anniversary year.

Here is how he recommended that we conduct this little exercise. Each member who wants to participate should submit your list of your own personal favorite TOP 20 Eagles songs in the order of your favorite to least favorite. After sufficient time (approximately 2 - 3 weeks), I will compile all the lists to determine the ultimate list of top 40 songs. Ranks will be determined the same way we have conducted other recent polls - #1 on a list is worth 20 points, #2-19 points, etc. Because there are so many different tastes and favorites, it shouldn't be difficult to come up with a Top 40 list based on each person's Top 20 selections.

So, hopefully, we'll get a good number of Borderers to play along and post a list. I'm still working on mine - this will be extremely hard for me since I love most Eagles songs. But, this can be our own little way of paying tribute to the band that has meant so much to so many of us for years. It should be fun to see the final results.

I've started my list butI don't know what to cut out to limit it to 20 songs. Other than the first 2 songs it's going to be next to impossible to rate the rest of them!

I usually do these off the top of my head. I am, however, finally going to take this opportunity to change the song that is my favourite. It's time to be honest. The band may no longer play the song live but that is irrelevant to me.

I think this is a great idea. I would like to participate but I feel like a bit of a fraud in that I am not familiar with all their albums.
