Not sure if this should go here or in the HOTE discussion thread. Previously.tv (successor to TWOP) did a viewing of HOTE.

You can see the stars and still not see the light.
Here's another piece on the documentary. He clearing enjoyed it whilst not being a big Eagles fan.

I guess this is the "Eagles for Dummies" edition? I'd give my opinion of this write-up, but then Soda would send me a PM, cautioning me against foul language and such.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
You've got it! I struggled to find anything to say about it and almost didn't post it because it didn't add anything for me.
Except... why do some people have so much trouble understanding the timeline for Don Felder leaving the band? That one thought he left in 1980 only to be coaxed back in 1994. I know the documentary was pretty low-key about the dismissal, but I keep seeing comments from people who believe he was fired for refusing to accept the new deal in 1994. Thought in a way, that's true - it just took 7 years to come to a head.
A lot of people just don't pay attention, too bad it doesn't keep them from spouting off. But really it would have been better if Felder had turned down that deal in 1994, it would have saved a lot of trouble.

Program alert: Showtime 2 is showing the documentary at 10 pm tonight. 10 minute warning!
I'm watching right now. I just got home from the hair salon. I missed the first 10 years. I came in time when they were Glenn's childhood.
Nice to know that Showtime is rerunning the documentary every now and then. I don't have that channel, but, of course, I do have the DVD. It's been a while since I watched it, so I need to find time to do that again soon.

I watched the documentary today on my laptop with my headphones on and I just now noticed how prominent Glenn's electric piano part is during "Outlaw Man." For some reason it just hit me today how good it sounds.
