Correcting my previous post. Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party went on in honor of Whitney. Clive said she would want the music to go on. Tributes to Whitney were made by Clive & other friends at the party.
In my opinion, she has done the best version of the Star Spangled Banner that's ever been performed.

He sings it high, he plays it low
I agree, Willie. Magnificent.
Here is another favorite that became a signature song not only for her but for every talent show try-out trying to prove she had a good voice:

Whitney had a great voice, a dynamic personality, and a great talent.
Report is the autopsy is done, but nothing will be released yet. Possible investigation underway. Very sad
Sad news! She had a fantastic voice! RIP!

(Glenn Frey)
RIP Whitney - an amazing talent.
My favourite WH song:
All at once
I finally took a moment.
And I'm realizing that.
You're not coming back.
And it's finally hit me all at once.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news yesterday morning. Whitney had a fantastic voice - she recorded some great songs. So sad that she was so troubled... I thought she had made it when she rehabilitated and made her comeback... perhaps she was depressed.
Whatever the reason for her passing, she has made a huge impact on the music industry, and nothing can take that away from her. May she rest in peace.
I've got a peaceful, easy feeling
And I know Glenn won't let me down
This is such sad news. What a beautiful woman and beautiful voice! She will certainly be missed.
Willie, I sure agree about her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Words can't express how perfect that was. I loved most all of her hits.
RIP Whitney.
