    These were mine:

    Don't Give Up - Gabriel/Bush (my favourite)
    What's That You're Doing - Stevie Wonder/Paul McCartney
    Leather & Lace
    Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
This Is Us - Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris
Tupelo Honey - Van Morrrison/Lonnie Donegan
All I Have To Do Is Dream - Glen Campbell/Bobbie Gentry
Well, Did You Evah! - Frank Sinatra/Bing Crosby
    A Foggy Day - Ella Fitzgerald/Louis Armstrong

If Led Zeppelin's The Battle Of Evermore counts as a duet, I would also include that.

And Billy Joel's Live At Shea Stadium DVD contains an awesome duet with Tony Bennett on New York State Of Mind.

Off the top of my head. Not necessarily all-time greats, but some of my personal favourites:

Calling Me - Kenny Rogers & Don Henley
I've Seen Better Days - George Jones & Tammy Wynette
Seven Spanish Angels - Willie Nelson & Ray Charles
Interlude - Morrissey & Susie Sioux
Her Town Too - James Taylor & JD Souther
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl
Redemption Song - Joe Strummer & Johnny Cash
Ain't No Mountain High Enough - Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell
Jackson - Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash
Break Each Other's Hearts Again - Reba McEntire & Don Henley
    Misery - P!nk & Steven Tyler

    I know, that's eleven. I can't count.

That's OK - I can't count either. I only had 8. I gotta come up with two more.

I really like Reba and Don's duet as well. "These arms wanna hold you - these lips wanna kiss you - these eyes are glad to see you. Baby, I miss you."

    Here's the song on Youtube:

Agree about Fairytale Of New York & Jackson. I find Her Town Too a bit bland (runs & hides). Another one I like is The Highwayman by Jimmy Webb & Mark Knopfler (yawn) which was originally sung as a quartet by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings & Kris Kristofferson.

Much as I love Elton John, I don't have much time for that massive hit he had with Kiki Dee, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, but his album of duets with Leon Russell, The Union, is great.

Of course the Knopfler/Harris album All The Roadrunning is a great duets album, as opposed to the much praised Plant/Krauss album Raising Sand, most of which actually featured solo lead vocals by each singer and not many actual duets.

I love All The Roadrunning. I could easily have put some Mark/Emmylou duets on my list. Her Town Too isn't my favourite JT song, but for me it's a treat to see and hear James and JD performing together. I can understand why you may find it a bit on the bland side, though.
