My wish was granted! He sang Take It Easy! The last song he sang before the encore. He said "I wrote this song with Glenn Frey" so I knew what was coming! Oh,New Kid In Town just came on the radio in the restaurant where we stopped for a snack on our way home!

My report is coming soon. As we were about to leave the restaurant last night we met a friend that we hadn't seen in years & stayed to talk. Before we left it started to pour rain so we didn't get home until 4 AM.

I made some more notes when I came home to help me remember. I must have been really tired by the time I left the restaurant because I left behind the T shirt that I bought at the concert. I called when I got home & realized that I didn't have it. They had found it so I'll scan it & post it when I get it. It is has a picture of him in 1974 with what I think is the "Ol' 55" that Glenn gave him.

Oh gosh! Glad nobody nabbed it!

I work with a 25 year old who I wish had our own Louise's sensibilities when it comes to music . Several weeks ago I asked her if she had ever heard of Jackson Browne and she hadn't, which didn't really surprise me given the songs she plays for me on her phone . Anyway, yesterday she was doing deposits for a local business while the young guy who usually brings them waited at her teller station. Out of the blue she looked at me and asked him if he'd ever heard of Jackson Browne. He shook his head and she said, "See Cathy, Doug's never heard of him either."
"I didn't say he had." I replied quietly.
"Did he used to be a singer or something?", Doug asked.
    "He still is", I responded.
"Does he use a walker to get up onstage?", Doug retorted. Wow, what an attack and I had not even started the conversation! Then he made a feeble joke that the only reason The Rolling Stones played Shea Stadium was because it was handicapped accessible. I just shook my head.

See what I have to put up with?

I suppose you would have been fired if you had slapped both like they needed to be, right?

Wow PM, you showed restaint! I would have started lecturing them on what good truely was... and that the music they listen to today wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for those "handicapped" people paving the way for them.

If it wasn't for the Old Folks, these young artist probably wouldn't even get paid for the drivel they play... oh yes, I would have been on my soap box!

I figured to those two I'd just come off as sounding old.
